HOUSTON - Elizabeth Earp Hollingsworth, 91, died Sunday, Oct. 1, 2006, at her home. She was born Feb. 15, 1915, in Chickasaw County to the late Benjamin Franklin Earp and Mattie Langham Earp. She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist Church.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Houston Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Enon Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
Survivors include one son, Leon A. Hollingsworth and Margaret of Houston; five grandchildren, David Duncan, Debbie Griffin, Cindy Cockell and Phillip Hollingsworth, all of Houston, and Allyson Moore of Tupelo; 14 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Malcolm Leon Hollingsworth; one daughter, Elizabeth Harlow; one grandson, Don Harlow; and her parents.
Pallbearers will be Pete Dexter, Edward Gore, Bruce Pepper, Rodney Hollingsworth, Darrall Moore and John Paul Cockell.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
