Emma A. Mutchler
Mrs. Emma A. MUTCHLER, 89, 1315 Bancroft avenue, died at 4 a.m. today in the Miller nursing home, where she had been a patient for the past two years. She had lived in the Rochester area all her life.
Born Oct. 7, 1873 in Akron, she was the daughter of Luther and Mary Katherine CHURCHILL WADE. Her first marriage was in 1891 to Arley O. GILLILAND, who died in 1943. Her second marriage was in 1952 to Charles MUTCHLER, who died in 1959. She was a member of the Grace Methodist church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Chester (Hulda) McCALLA, and two sons, Edward K. and Orville L. [GILLILAND], all of Rochester; a sister, Mrs. Manford (Effie) NEWELL, Rochester; eleven grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Zimmerman Brothers funeral home with the Rev. Ray MILLS officiating. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery here. Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p.m. Friday.
