Musa Pearl Wade Swihart was born at Tiosa, Indiana, July 2, 1881, departed from this life August 16, 1909, aged 28 years, 1 month and 14 days. She united with the Tiosa Christian Church at the age of 14 years. She was united in marriage with Alvah Swihart March 31, 1902. To this union were born three children, Harley, Harold and Virginia, Harold having preceded her to the spirit world three years ago. She leaves besides her husband and two children, a father Luther Wade of Logansport, a step-mother, and three sisters, Mrs. Arley Gilliland, of Wagoners, Indiana, Mrs. Fred Perschbacher, Rochester, Indiana, and Maude Wade of Logansport, also a number of relatives and friends to mourn their loss. Funeral services conducted at Beaver Dam Church August 18, by Rev. J. D. Mishler of South Whitley, Indiana, assisted by Rev. McCoy of Silver Lake.
