Hulda A. McCalla Dies at Rochester; Final Rites Sunday.
ROCHESTER- Last rites will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Zimmerman Brothers Funeral Home for Mrs. Hulda A. McCalla, 72, 512 E. Eighth St.

The Rev. C. J. Mowrer will officiate and burial will be in Deedsville IOOF Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after noon today.

Mrs. McCalla died Friday in Miller Nursing Home where she had been a patient since Feb. 10.

Born Sept. 15, 1892, in Rochester, she was the daughter of Arley and Emma Wade Gilliland. Except for a few years in Deedsville, she lived in this community all her life.

Her marriage was Aug. 16, 1911 to Chester E. McCalla, who died Nov. 6, 1964. She was a member of Mothers of World War II and of the Rochester Church of God.

Surviving are two sons, Echo and Harold McCalla, both of Rochester; five daughters, Mrs. Howard Wood, Mrs. Pat Richardson, Mrs. Helen Dague, MRs. Jack Clark and Mrs. Charles Miller, all of Rochester; 18 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and two brothers, Edward and Orville Gilliland, both of Rochester.

Preceding her in death were three sons and a daughter.
