Miss Emma Hoeppner, 88, of 453 Grenway Road, Kingsford Heights, died at 5:15 p.m. Tuesday at Pine Lake division hospital. She had been ill for more than a year.
She was born Jan. 21,1881 in Union Township and lived in the area all her life.

She was a member of Tracy Lutheran church and of its Ladies Aid Society.

She is survived only by nieces and nephews but was preceded in death by six brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. at Tracy Lutheran church, the Rev. Edward Koeheneke officiating. Burial will be in the Tracy Lutheran cemetery. Friends may call at the Kosanke Brothers Funeral home, Union Mills, from 6 p.m. Thursday until 11 a.m. Saturday when the body will be taken to the church.
