Mrs. Clara Allwater, 74, route 1, died at 7:45 a.m. today at Holy Family Hospital after an illness of 11 months.

She was born August 30,1889, in LaPorte county to Charles and Dorothy Hoeppner.

Mrs. Allwater was married Dec. 8, 1915 at the Tracy Lutheran Church to George R. Allwater, who survives. She was a member of the Westville Trinity Lutheran Church.

Survivors include, her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Maude Allen, LaPorte; three grandchildren and a great grandchild; a sister, Miss Emma Hoeppner, Kingsford Heights; a brother, Fred Hoeppner, Elkhart.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Weaver Funeral home, Westville. Burial will follow in the Kingsbury cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from after 7 p.m. tomorrow until the services Thursday afternoon.
