W. H. VAN NICE

Mr. W. H. Van Nice, who went to the mineral springs at Lineville, Missouri a few weeks ago in search of health, died at that place Tuesday, April 10, at 4:25 p.m. at the age of 65 years.

Mr. Van Nice had been in poor health for several months, but the immediate cause of his death was hemorrhage of the gall.

The deceased was an old resident of this county and was one of our most highly respected citizens. He was a consistent Christian and has been a member of the Presbyterian church for several years.

A wife and six children, four sons and two daughters, are left to mourn their loss and have the sympathy of innumerable friends in their dark hours.

The remains were brought to this city Wednesday morning, and this afternoon at 1 o'clock at his late residence, friends will assemble to pay the last tribute of respect to the memory of the deceased. The funeral services will be conducted by Rev. W. C. Atwood and interment will take place in the Chariton cemetery.
