ca. 1936, John and Nancy were her parents.
Most everything you have written on their memorial matches exactly with what she
wrote with a few exceptions. If you would make these changes, I would appreciate
it.

Mrs. J. J. Marrs Dies at Home Here Today

Mrs. Nancy Marrs, 89, wife of J. J. Marrs, died suddenly at 3 o'clock this morning at her home, 703 West Ridge Avenue.

Mrs. Marrs was born September 28, 1842, in Carroll county. She was married to J.J. Marrs in 1860, and they would have celebrated their 72nd wedding anniversary
June 16. To this union twelve children were born, eleven of whom survive.

Mr. and Mrs. Marrs moved to Harrison 1900 and have been active in church and social work here since that time. Mrs. Marrs became a member of the Free Will Baptist church in Carroll county at the age of 15 years, but joined the
Presbyterian church when she moved to Harrison.

Besides her husband, deceased is survived by four sons, N. L. Marrs of Chicago, S. B. Marrs of Norman, Okla., J. F. Marrs of Harrison and Rev. S. E. Marrs of Cane Hill; seven daughters, Mrs. W. A. Carlton of Harrison, Mrs. A. B. Wilson of Green Forest, Mrs W. G. Clark of Harrison, Mrs. J. H. Jones of California, Mrs. William Murphy of Norman, Okla., Mrs. J. W. Hill of Harrison and Mrs. A. B.
Andrews of Little Rock, and 38 grand children and 31 great grand children.

Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. F. J. Stowe at the Presbyterian church Tuesday at 3 p. m. Burial will be made in Maplewood cemetery.
