ELLA MAE CAWLEY Mrs. Ella Mae Cawley a resident of Fort Towson, died Thursday at Choctaw Memorial Hospital.
She was 71.
Mrs. Cawley was a rancher by occupation and was a retired lunchroom cook at the Fort Towson School.
She was born Oct. 25, 1917 in Fort Towson, the daughter of J. A. and Nora (Dunn) Easterwood. She had been a resident of Fort Towson all of her life. Mrs. Cawley was a member of the First Baptist Church of Fort Towson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William "Red" Cawley, on December 12, 1968.
Survivors include a son, William Cawley, Jr. of the home; and four daughters, Pat Campbell of Fort Towson, Margaret Johnson of Hugo, Jane Dickson of Fort Towson, and Catherine Coker of Oklahoma City.
Additional survivors include two brothers, James Easterwood and Bill Easterwood, both of Fort Towson; three sisters, Rosie Lang of Fort Towson, Helen Latham of Fort Worth, Texas and Alpha Adams of Cathrage, Texas; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Fort Towson First Baptist Church. Rev. Dick Servati will officiate.
Burial will be in the Fort Towson Cemetery.
The Lampton-Mills and Coffey Funeral Home of Hugo is in charge of arrangements.
