Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Sep. 3, at Fort Towson Baptist Church with the Rev. Stanley Pope officiating. Burial will be in Fort Towson Cemetery by Lampton-Mills and Coffey Funeral Homer. Mr. Easterwood was born June 8, 1924, in Fort Towson, a son of James Albert and Nora Dunn Easterwood. He married Irene Ridenour, Nov. 5, 1955. Surviving are his wife; three sons, James Edward Easterwood Jr. of Fort Towson, Roy Gene Easterwood of Stringtown, OK, and Steve Easterwood of Fort Towson; four daughters, Gail Montgomery of Sherman, TX, Linda Ruth Tyler of Millerton, OK, Jean Davis and Deborah Wheeler, both of Fort Towson; one brother, Billy Easterwood of Fort Towson; three sisters, Helen Lantham of Fort Worth, TX, Alphia Adams of Carthage, TX, and Rosie Lang of Fort Towson, OK; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.'
