Services will be held here in the Baptist Church, of which she was a long time member, the time to be announced later by Coffee Funeral Home, Hugo. Burial will be made in the Doaksville-Ft. Towson Cemetery.
The former Nora Dunn, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ab Dunn and had lived here all her life. Mrs. Easterwood and her husband, land operator and fur buyer for many years, who died Aug. 7, 1960, were widely known in the area for a public fish fry which they regularly gave in honor of all political candidates at mid-campaign, sometimes drawing hundreds of persons.
She leaves six children: James Easterwood, Billy Easterwood, Mrs. Rosie Lang and Mrs. Ella Cawley, all of Ft. Towson; Mrs. Alphia Adams, Cathrage, Tex.; and Mrs. Helen Latham, Ft. Worth, Tex. 34 other descendants.
Also Elmer Easterwood of Benicia, Calif., a stepson, and four brothers and sisters: Johnnie Dunn, Mike Dunn, Mrs Evalina Kinslow, and Mrs. Lilly Vandever, all of Fort Towson.
