McElory, 84 will be from
the First Christian Church in
Lamar at 10 a.m., Friday, Aug. 12.
Interment will be in Mc Clave
Cemetery. Visitation will be from 8
a.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug.
11, at the Dolsen Almont Mortuary.
Mrs. McElory died at the
Prowers Medical Center on Aug. 8,
1983 after several weeks illness.
Born in Mt. Hope< Kan. she came to
the county in the 1939,with her Husband
and children. She was married to
George McElory on Feb. 11, 1919,
in Mt. Hope. She was a member of
the First Christian Church of
Lamar.
Survivors included three sons,
Andy of Chico, Ca., Dave of
Riverton, Wy., and Frank of Hasty,
Co.; three daughters, Etta
Anderson of Ft. Lyon, Co. ,
Katherine Millyard of Lamar and
Carolyn Darnell of McClave; two
brothers, Ray Harper of Rose Hill,
Ks., and John Harper of Van-
couver, Wa., one sister, Mary Coon
of Norwich, Ks. and 27 grand-
children and 17 Great-grand-
children.
She was preceded in death
by her husband, George in 1956,
and a daughter, Helen in 1934, a
son, Ifred in 1977, a granddaughter
Virginia in 1952.
Final arrangements are under
the direction of the Dolsen Almont
Mortuary in Lamar.
