Last rites will be held 2pm Friday in Desert Chapel for Mabel Faye Smart,57, an Eagle Mountain resident for seven years.
Mrs. Smart, who died Monday in Blythe, was born in Mt. Hope, Kansas May 11, 1908.
Burial will be in Palo Verde cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, Frank of Eagle Mountain, CA; four sons, Roy and Frank Jr of Eagle Mountain, John of Roseburg, OR, and Gene of Grants Pass, OR; two daughters, Mrs. Nevada McMahan of Lanagan, Mo. and Mrs. Nadine Ford of Lemore; five brothers, Bill and Dewey Harper of Mt. Hope, KS, Jess Harper of Ft. Worth, TX, Ray Harper of Derby, KS and John Harper of Milton Freewater, OR; three sisters, Fannie James of Kansas City, Kansas, Nellie McElroy of Palisade, Colorado and Mary Coon of Kingman, Kansas; 21 grandchildren.
