OBITUARY
Jacob Daniel Bailey was born January 7, 1871 in Dunn County Wisconsin and departed this life, September 27, 1936 at 3 o'clock, at the age of 65 years, 8 months and 20 days.
When a small boy, he moved with his parents to Iowa, where he lived until he was thirteen. He moved with his parents to Custer County, Nebraska and there he grew to manhood. On September 18, 1897 he was married to Miss Ada Doty. They moved to Roger Mills County, Oklahoma in 1899 where they have resided since. To this union born five children.
Mr. Bailey had been suffering the past two years with heart trouble, which caused his death. He leaves to Mourn his departure his wife, Mrs. Ada Bailey, and children, Emory Bailey, Alfred Bailey, and Lou Bailey and Mrs. Martha Phenix and Mrs. Winnie Tackitt and eleven grandchildren, all of Leedey; two brothers, Jim and Harve Bailey, four sisters, Mrs. LaFaun, Mrs. Graves, Mrs. Fimple and Mrs. Conrad, besides a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services were conducted Monday afternoon, September 28, at the Shirley church by the Rev. W. J. Gray. The remains were laid to rest in the Shirley Cemetery.
