In the 1940 census, Sylvia indicates that in 1935 she was living in Dewey County, Oklahoma; and in 1940 in San Antonio (now part of the city of Los Angeles), Los Angeles County, California with her youngest daughter, Eupha.
The California Death index indicates that Sylvia died 19 Jun 1952 in Los Angeles County, California. It also lists her father's surname as Bailey, and her mother's maiden name as Clingaman.
