William Yerian, 30, of Jackson route three was killed at 3:30 a.m. Monday when a car in which he was a passenger struck a truck just inside the city limits of Mansfield where he was working.
Injured in the wreck were John Yanik and William Simmons, 22 of Columbus.
Yerian is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Yerian of Jackson, route 3.
In addition to his parents he is survived by two brothers; Robert of Jackson and Edward of Xenia; four sisters Mrs. Isaac McCormick of Jackson route three, Mrs. Neal McElfresh of Jackson route 3; Mrs. Phillip Tomilson of Xenia and Ms. Delbert Hill of Dayton.
The body is at the Sperry Funeral home where friends may call Wednesday. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday by the Rev. R. L. Fisher from the funeral home. Burial will follow in Fairmount cemetery.
