Robert Yerian, age 74, of Jackson, passed away Monday, December 29, 2003, at his residence. He was born in Jackson County, February 3, 1929 to the late Fred Yerian and Stella (Halderman) Kaufman. He was a US Army veteran and a retired truck driver and a railroad employee.
Survived by wife Kimberly (Woodruff) Yerian; sons, Phillip, George, Ray, Tom, Jim, Kenny, Jeff, Ronnie, Kevin, Eddie, and John; daughters, Pam, Sharon, Vicki, Betty and Anita; one brother Sherman Halderman and sister Betty Rasp; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren also survive.
He was preceded in death by first wife, Edith Hill; sons Chris, Rich, Steve and Carl; sister, Dorothy, Emmy and Winifred; brothers Ed, Bill and Frank.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, January 3, 2004 at the Eisnaugle-Lewis Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Pennington officiating, burial to follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Disabled American Veterans Chapter #45 will be conducting graveside military services. Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, January 2, 2004 at the funeral home.
