Betty Rasp, 78, a resident of Beaver Pike, Jackson, Ohio, passed away Monday September 26, 2011 at Holzer Medical center, Jackson, Ohio.
She was born July 17. 1933 in Jackson County, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her mother Stella Yerian, six brothers and four sisters.
She is survived by ex-husband Ray Rasp, two sons, David (Myrtle) rasp and Floyd (Amber) Rasp, both of Jackson, Ohio; Four daughters, Sandra (Jim) Cavis of Jackson, Lilly (Jerry) Barnett of McArthur, Cathy (Dale Hill) Moore of Jackson, and Shirley (Bob) Parks of Florida; stepchildren, Ray E. (Debbie), Nancy Rasp, Linda Rasp, Jim (Melissa) Rowland; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home Thursday, Sept. 29 from 4-8 pm where funeral services will be held on Friday, Sept. 30 at 2 pm with Rev. Jack Hughes officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairmount Cemetary.
