Fred Yerian, 75, of Jackson, died at 11 a.m. Sunday in Holzer Hospital.
A resident of Jessie street, he was a native and lifetime resident of Jackson, son of the late John and Emma Wyatt Yerian, he was a retired employee of the Jackson Iron and Steel Co. and a member of the United Mine Workers Union.
He is survived by two sons and four daughters. Also surviving are two brothers and one sister.
