Annabelle L. Hartzell, 88, of 1721 Atkinson St. died the night of March 9, 2004, in Jameson Hospital.

Born April 26, 1915, in New Castle, she was a daughter of the late Howard and Anna Hobel Myers.

She married Harrison Hartzell on Dec. 12, 1935. He died May 4, 1984.

Mrs. Hartzell worked in the housekeeping department at Jameson Hospital.

She was a member of Washington Union Alliance Church.

Survivors include a brother, Herbert Myers of New Castle; two granddaughters, Terre Lee and Leslie Rose, both of Gulfport, Miss.; two great-grandsons, Zachary H. Rose and Cayle N. Rose, both of Gulfport; and neices and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Harry Hartzell; and two sisters, Carrie Hartzell and Rebecca Marsh.

Visitation is noon to 2 p.m. tomorrow at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home, 2429 Wilmington Road. A service will be conducted at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home. Ted Walker will officiate. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
