Anna P. Sterling,78, of Beulah
died Monday, July 17, 2000, at
her home of a short illness.
She was born March 18, 1922, at
Pittsburg to John and Myrtle
Burris Burns. She attended area
schools.
She married Frank Sterling in
Pittsburg on May 2, 1942. He
preceded her in death Feb. 13,
1984.
Mrs. Sterling was a member of the
Beulah Community Church and a
life-long resident of south-east
Kansas. She was employed at
Mt. Carmel Medical Center for 37
years in the housekeeping department.
Survivors include two sons, Steve
Sterling of Somerset, Ky. and Dan
Sterling of McCune; two daughters,
Sally Meeks of Arma and Terri Lloyd
of Beulah; her mother, Myrtle Burris
Burns of Girard; seven grandchildren;
and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her
father and four brothers.
