Eva M. Poole, 87, formerly of Princeville, died Thursday in Morton Health Care Center.
Born Feb. 7, 1897, in Princeville to Flavius and Margaret Harrison Barrett, she married George Poole Sept. 1, 1915, in Peoria. He died Jan. 28, 1960. Four sisters and three brothers also preceded her in death.
Surviving are on son, Harold Poole of Princeville; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Leonard Barrett of Princeville and Oswald Barrett of Dunlap; and three sisters, Mrs. Amanda Martzluff and Mrs. Stella Carlin, both of Peoria, and Mrs. Gladys Worffold of Dunlap.
She was a member of Princeville United Methodist Church over 50 years.
Services were held Saturday at her church with Rev. Glen A. Stewart officiating. Burial was in the Princeville cemetery. Hammitt Funeral Homes is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to her church or Akron-Princeville Ambulance.
