Funeral services for John H. Barrett, 69, of Wyoming, who was pronounced dead on arrival at Proctor Hospital, Peoria, early Saturday morning, June 19, 1971, were held Monday at 1:30 p.m. in the Bouton-Hammitt Funeral Home in Princeville. Interment was in the Princeville Cemetery.
Mr. Barrett was born Aug. 21, 1901, in Dunlap, the son of Flavius and Margaret Harrison Barrett.
Surviving are two brothers, Leonard of Princeville and Oswald of Dunlap; five sisters, Mrs. Clarence (Bessie) Martzluf of Edelstein, Mrs. John (Amanda) Martzluf of Gilson, Mrs. Eva Poole of Princeville, Mrs. Philip Carlin of Peoria and Mrs. Gladys Worsfold of Dunlap with whom he had been recently residing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and three sisters.
