GILLESPIE -- Marianna Peacock, 52, of Mount Olive, formerly of Gillespie, died at 9:45 a.m. Saturday at St. John's Hospital.

Surviving are three daughters, Cheryl Sponsler of Greenville, Cindy Peacock of Springfield and Marianne Mathis of Mount Olive; mother, Mildred Blevins of Gillespie; three grandchildren; seven brothers, Luther, Leonard Jr., James, Richard and Thomas Blevins, all of Gillespie, Lindell Blevins of Troutman, N.C. and Wayne Blevins of Dorchester; and seven sisters, Edna Mae Releford and Viola Edwards, both of Gillespie, Marie Brewer of Hartford, Clarissa "Babe" Troxel of San Diego, Calif., Alberta Shemph of Peoria, Alvena Friends of Litchfield and Carolyn Rimar of Troy.

Servics will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Trinity Baptist Church in Gillespie, with burial in Gillespie City Cemetery.

Kravanya Funeral Home, Gillespie, is in charge of arrangements.
