He was retired after having been a distributor for the Illinois Department of Transportation. He is survived by his children, Angela (Kelly) Heaps of Gillespie, IL, Anita (Don) Mathers of Kingman, AZ, grandchildren, Christina, Nickole, Dylan, Caitlin, Blake, 7 great grandchildren, brother, Wayne (Doris) Blevins of Dorchester, IL sisters, Alberta "Bert" Shempf of Peoria, IL and Vi Edwards of Gillespie, IL. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Luke Blevins, Richard Blevins, Leonard Blevins, James Blevins, Lindell Blevins, sisters, Edna Mae Releford, Marie Brewer, Clarissa "Babe" Troxel, Alvena Friend, Marianna Peacock, Dorothy Blevins and Carolyn Rimar.
