Mable P. Kline, 93, of Sligo RD 1 died Monday at Clarview Rest Home. Born December 28, 1895, in Porter Township, Clarion County, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Sarah Smith Dixon. She married Robert S. Kline on July 7, 1915. He preceded her in death in July 1969. She was a housewife and a homemaker. She was a member of the Monroe Chapel Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Murphy Grange.
She is survived by four sons, Arnold J. Kline of New Bethlehem, Merle D. Kline of Chandler, Okla., Robert L. Kline of Edenburg, and Edwin E. Kline of Clarion RD 2; and one daughter, Mrs. Orpha Carnahan of Clarion RD 2; 21 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Iona Botzer of Sligo RD 2. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one grandson, Robert Philip Kline, two brothers, Raymond Dixon and Ted Dixon.
Friends may call anytime after 2 p.m. today at the Robert V. Burns Funeral Home in Clarion. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. Officiating will be the Rev. C.M. Schwab, assisted by Rev. Edward W. Rogosky. Interment will be in MT. Zion Lutheran Cemetery at Callensburg.
