Mrs. Botzer was a homemaker. She also worked for many years in the cafeteria in Sligo Elementary School. She was a Protestant. Mrs. Botzer was a member of the former Murphy Grange near Sligo. She was married March 17, 1926, to Arthur E. Botzer who died April 23, 1982. Surviving are three daughters abd their husbands, Betty and Wyllis Jones Jr. of Clarion, Fern and Jim Gourley of New Bethlehem and Jean and Clayton Harriger of Belsano; 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. In addition the her parents and husband she was preceded I death by one sister, Mabel Dixon Kline; and two brothers, Raymond and Edwin Dixon.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday in the Varner Funeral Home in Sligo. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home with the Rev. Clayton Harriger, Mrs. Botzer's son-in-law and the Rev. Gerald Davis, pastor of the Leatherwood Church near New Bethlehem, co-officiating.
Interment will follow in the MT. Zion Cemetery near Sligo. The family suggests memorial donations to be made to the Clarion-Forest Visiting Nurses Association Hospice, Box 369, Knox, 16232.
