Charles Fred Shellenberger who lived inthe Agnes City township, died in the St. Mary's hospital in Emporia this morning at 12:35 o'clock after a sickness of one month. He entered the hospital on Christmas day. Funeral services have not been arranged. Mr. Shellenberger was born November 3, 1887, in Dunlap. At the age of six, he moved to Olpe with his parents, and in 1897 he went to Americus. Since 1905 he has lived on his farm north of Bushong. in the Agnes City community. He married Flossie Lineker. February 22. 1911 in Admire. Mrs. Shellenberger died May 2 ,1941. Surviving Mr. Shellenberger are two daughters, Mrs. Una Maude Adams, of Council Grove; and Mrs. Lois Tilllnghast, of Clifton; one son. Glenn E. Shellenberger, of the home; his mother, Mrs. Emma Shellenberger, of Allen; one sister. Mrs. R. W. Mclnnes, of Allen; five brothers, Ralph, of Americus; Everett, of Geneseo: P- L.. of Pueblo, Colo., and John and Virgil, of Bushong.

Allen, Jan. 13 --Funeral services for Charles Fred Shellenberger who died Friday morning in St. Mary's Hospital in Emporia, Kansas, were held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Bushong Methodist Church, Bushong, Kansas. Short services were held at the Block & Son Funeral Home in Council Grove, Kansas. The Rev. Mrs. Charles Young of Americus, Kansas, had charge of the services with the Rev. Fred J. Johnson of the Allen Methodist Church, Allen. Kansas, assisting. Henry B. Lawton of Bushong, Kansas, and Miss Esther Haas of Allen, Kansas, sang, accompained by Mrs. E. J. Hass of Allen, Kansas.

Pallbearers were Jess Johnson, Roscoe Moore, Roy Eckel, Oscar Hauser, Arthur Eckel and Paul Stueve. Burial was in the Agnes City cemetery, northwest of Bushong, Kansas.
