Mrs. Louise H. Dix, 52 years old, of Route 2, Brandenburg, Kentucky, died Saturday, December 14, 1968 at her home.

She was born May 22, 1916 in Meade County, a daughter of the late Ruben Thomas and Mary Magdelene Benham Thomas.

She is survived by her husband, Mr. Eli (Bud) Dix; six children, Mrs. Paul (Brenda) Hazlerig, Elizabethtown, Kentucky; Mrs. David (Dorothy) Benham, Louisville, Kentucky; Gus Owen Dix, Valley Station, Kentucky; Donald Eli Dix, Brandenburg, Kentucky; Jesse Pony Dix, Troy, Alabama; Hobert James Dix, Troy, Alabama; two sisters, Mrs. Walter (Verna) Raymer and Mrs. Sylvia Pack both of Brandenburg, Kentucky; three brothers, Mr. James Augustus "Gus" Thomas, Louisville, Kentucky; Mr. Jesse Ruben "JR" Thomas and Mr. John Thomas both of Brandenburg, Kentucky; She is also survived by 14 grandchildren.

Funeral Services were held Monday, December 16, 1968 from Phillips Memorial Baptist Church with the Rev. Billy Marcum officiating. Interment was in New Brandenburg Baptist Church Cemetery directed by Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home. Pallbearers were: Casey Kullman, Mark Gossett, Ricky Myers, Ricky Thomas, Lamar Parr and Ronnie Hawkins.
