Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Rogers, 84, Bruner, were held Wednesday in Harris Chapel, Ozark. She died Saturday in the home of a daughter, Mrs. Blanche Goins of Bruner. Mrs. Rogers was a lifelong resident of the Bruner and Sparta communities and was a member of the Sparta First Baptist church. Among those surviving are four sons, Pletcher of Fordland and Charles of Sparta, Benny of Russellville and John of Liberty; five other daughters, Mrs. Bessie Arms, Macon, Mrs. Arlene Goins, Groveland, Ill., Mrs. Pauline Ryals, Morton, Ill., Mrs. Vivian Johns, Modesto, Calif., and Mrs. Susie Johns of Sparta; a step-daughter, Mrs. Gladys King, Decatur, Ala., a sister, Mrs. Ester Adair, Battle Mountain, Nev.; four brothers, George and Harvey Pletcher, both of Perryton, Tex., Noah Pletcher, Cheyenne, Okla. and Paul Pletcher, Pampa, Tex.; 41 grandchildren, 56 great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren. The Anna Rogers family wished to thank everyone for the many acts of kindness shown our Mother during her illness and death. The cards, prayers, visits, flowers and food. A very special thanks to the Sparta Baptist church for having the family dinner. We will never forget and are deeply appreciative. God Bless each of you.
