Addie's full name was Adeline Elizabeth but everyone knew her as "Addie" to me she was "grandma" She lived most of her life in Blount County, AL. If she had lived about 3 months longer she would have been 98. For the last 15 or more years Addie and her sisters, Lois and Eunice lived together.
Addie and E L were married for 62 years before he passed away.
They raised 7 children and over 200 descendants That says a lot for a family.

Children of Elijah & Addie are, Gertrude(George Danehower), Bernice(Otis Ellis & Leroy Mims), T R (Vareda Burns), Alene (Ersie Huffstutler), Waltene( Martha Elrod & Ann Hess), E. L. Jr(Loree Caldwell)and Imogene ( Donald Ellis).
