9746766 Mrs. Mary Wright Campbell, 72, of Rt. 2, Altoona, passed away at a local hospital on Tuesday, February 17th after a short illness following a stroke of paralysis. She was a native of Blount county and was the daughter of the late Hill and Nancy Brooks Ridgeway. She was a member of the Mt. Zion church of God. Surviving are three sons, Dillard and W. E. Wright, Altoona, Honest Wright, Shelby; three daughters, Mrs. Buna Laughlin, Rt. 6 Boaz, Mrs. Willie Campbell Rt 2 Altoona, Mrs. Ida Mae Doty, Gadsden; four brothers, Robert Ridgeway, Fultondale, Wiley Ridgeway, Rt. 2 Altoona, Claude Ridgeway, Oneonta, Chester Ridgeway, California; five sisters, Mrs. Addie jackson, Mrs. Lois Jackson, Mrs. Eunice Ballard, Rt 2 Altoona, Mrs. Oma Vick, Gadsden; thirty-one grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Mt. Zion Church of God on Thursday, February 19th at 2:00 pm, and was conducted by Revs. Frank Pass and Worthy Wilemon and Sister Mable Branch.
