Born Sept. 24, 1931, in Rome, New York, she was a daughter of the late Leo George and Nora Elizabeth Spellicy Schuler.
She was a homemaker and a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Danville.
Survivors include her husband, Ernest Gipson Jr.; one daughter, Robin A. Gipson of Lexington; two sons, Air Force Col. Michael R. Gipson of Las Vegas, Nev., and Ernie M. Gipson of Greensburg, Ind.; two brothers, Lawrence J. Schuler of Gainesville, Fla., and Winston E. Schuler of Ocala, Fla.; three sisters, Mary Elizabeth Marcellis and Teresia A. Marcisofsky, both of Rome, and Helena A. Brenon of Booneville, N.Y.; and three grandchildren.
Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church by the Rev. Paul Prabell. Burial will be in Junction City Cemetery.
