Paul H. Mummert

Paul Herman Mummert, 136 Penn Street, died Saturday morning at the Hanover General Hospital, where he had been admitted as a patient Wednesday. He was 48 years old.
Mr. Mummert was the son of the late Harry Mummert and Mrs. Emma Sterner Mummert.
He was a member of the Lutheran congregation of St. Paul's (Dubs') Union Church, and fraternally was affiliated with Hanover Aerie, No. 1406, Fraternal Order of Eagles, and Hanover Lodge, No. 227, Loyal Order of Moose. Mummert had been employed as a machine operator by the McKay Company, York.
Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Emma J. Mummert, Hanover R.D. 2; his wife, the former Mary Ann Kessler; four children, Clair H. Mummert, New Oxford; William H. Mummert, Exchange Place; Maurice J. Mummert, East Walnut Street, and Mrs. Nevin Wagner, York Street; a step-daughter, Beatrice Werner, at home; one grandchild, and the following brothers and sisters, Ervin Mummert, York Street; Mrs. Russell Myers, Thomasville; John Mummert, Penn Street; Ira Mummert, East Middle Street; Charles Mummert, Glenville; Raymond Mummert, Broadway; Mrs. Lester Kopp, Hanover R.D. 2, and Mrs. Clarence Renoll, Manchester, Md.
The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon with services conducted at 2 o'clock at the W. A. Feiser Funeral Home. Rev. Albert M. Hollinger, pastor of the West Manheim Lutheran charge, will officiate. Burial will be made in Mount Olive Cemetery, Abbottstown.
