MUMMERT - On June 11, 1979, at Hanover General Hospital, John Walter Mummert, husband of Mamie Cramer Mummert, of 142 Kuhn Drive, Hanover, aged 74 years, 8 months, 23 days.
Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at St. Paul's (Dubs) Lutheran Church. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Viewing will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Wetzel Funeral Home, 549 Carlisle St., Hanover.

HANOVER – John Walter Mummert, 74, husband of Mamie Cramer Mummert, of 142 Kuhn Dr., died Monday at Hanover General Hospital.
Mr. Mummert was born in Jackson Township, the son of the late Harry and Emma Jane Sterner Mummert.
He worked as a self-employed carpenter and was a member of St. Paul's (Dubs) Lutheran Church.
Survivors include two sons, Alton L. Mummert, 1006 E. Walnut St., and Merhle L. Mummert, Columbus, Ga.; a daughter, Mrs. Shirley Ruth, Grandview Road; six grandchildren; a brother, Charles Mummert, Forry Ave., and two sisters, Mrs. Romaine Rennoll, Janet Street, and Mrs. Edna Myers, York Road.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at St. Paul's (Dubs) Lutheran Church with the pastor, Rev. Gerhard H. W. Roggenkamp, officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
