On 8 Jun 1900, her husband is widowed, residing in Van Zandt, Texas with their 2 children, and his brother, Boone Luther Gilbert. Nannie's son, Russell, is living with his uncle, Malcolm Gilbert in Kaufman, Texas.

In 1910, Hugh Gilbert and his 2xnd wife reside in Barnitz, Custer, Oklahoma. Nannie's 2 children are in same household, along with 4 of Hugh and Annie's children.

She was in a Pettit family picture taken around in Wills Point, TX, and looked to be a grown lady but was apparently only about fifteen (15) years old. The picture is included on this memorial.

She had a son named Cawood Gilbert who came to McCurtain County, OK and stayed some with my grandparents, D. A. and Sallie (Pettit) Baker.
