Her parents and all her siblings are linked to her at the bottom of this memorial.

Lucinda May (Pettit) Patterson died June 13, 1962 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 79. She had not yet had her 80th birthday that year.

Lucinda May (she was called May) Patterson and her husband, Jack Patterson are in the same burial lot with May's brother, Hiram Pettit. The graves are at Mission Burial Park South, on Southeast Military Drive, described as: Block 6, Lot 828. (San Antonio, Texas)

The Mission Burial Park Cemetery is adjacent to the banks of the San Antonio River and near to the historic Spanish Missions. The cemetery is very big, and it is a well-kept cemetery.

(Thank you for all the burial information, Daniel Gabehart, retired Deputy Chief, Bexar County Sheriff Department!)

May you Rest in Peace, Great Aunt May...I don't remember ever meeting you, but I was told that you used to come to Oklahoma to visit my grandmother, Sallie (Pettit) Baker, who was your sister. Thank you for visiting her and her children! It must have been very hard for my grandma to be away from all her Pettit Families in Texas.
