TREMONTON - Retta C. Anderson Adams, 87 of Tremonton, died Tuesday, June 3, 1980, at her home.

She wae born Nov. 26, 1892 in Bear River to Rasmus and Mary Anderson.

She married Basil H. Adams Sept. 10, 1913 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died Nov. 12, 1963.

She was reared on the family farm in Bothwell, one of 16 children.

She was an active member of the LDS church, serving in the YWMIA, the ward primary presidency and as a primary teacher.

Surviving are two sons and one daughter, Donald D. Adams, Omaha. Neb.; Max Adams, Tremonton; and Mrs. George (Faye) Evans, of Layton.

There are 12 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.

Also surviving are four brotiers and seven sisters, Milton J. Anderson, of Thatcher: Mrs. Alice Roche, Mrs. Amy Allen, Mrs. Dean (Ruby) Orwin, all of Tremonton; Cleone Anderson, Clyde Anderson, Golden Anderson, Mrs. J. Leo (Mable) Stokes, Mrs. Cecil (Wanda) Newman and Mrs. Henry (Stella) Newman, all of Bothwell and Mrs. Vera Smith of Preston. Idaho.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday at I p.m. in the Tremonton 1st and 7th LDS Ward Chapel, 166 N. Tremont.

Friends may call at the Rogers Mortuary, 111 N. 1st E. Tremoton, Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 11 a.m. to 12:3O p.m.

Burial will be in the Tremonton Riverview Cemetery.
