Mr. Crose was a conductor with the New York Central system, retiring in 1961. An Army veteran of World War I, he was a member of Veterans of World War I Post 2909, United Transportation Local 1394, Association of Retired Railway Employees, and Prospect Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his widow Mrs. Lucille (Cohee) Crose; three sons, James Crose of Greenwood, John Crose of Glenwood, IL, and Robert Crose of Boston; and two daughters, Mrs. Mary Beth Stout of Lafayette and Mrs. Joan Foster of Indianapolis.
