RITES TUESDAY FOR HENRY DENNING, 78

Funeral service for Henry Denning, 78, whose death
occurred of pneumonia at St. Clara hospital at 12:20 p. m.
Saturday, will be held at the Goff funeral home at 10:30 a.
m. Tuesday.

Rev. A. A. Belyes of the First Methodist church will
conduct the service and burial will be in Union cemetery.

Mr. Denning resided at the home of his daughter, Mrs.
Bryan Zimmerman, on Clinton street and entered the hospital
Thursday.

He was born at Henry 6 September 1862 and married Amanda
Blower at Pontiac in 1887. She preceded her husband in
death and surviving are the following children; John,
Lincoln; Henry H., Chicago; Mrs. J. Desort, Bettendorf,
Iowa, Mrs. Zimmerman, Lincoln; Clyde, Hayward, California,
and Bryan, Lincoln.

Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Otis Mc Murry, and
Mrs. Everett Musick and one brother George Denning all of
Springfield.

Mr. Denning was a member of the First Methodist church. He
was formerly employed in the local mines.
