KINGSPORT - Floyd J. Rigsby, Dillow St., died Sunday morning (Feb. 13, 2005) at Indian Path Medical Center.

He was born in Washington County, Tenn., and lived in Kingsport for several years.

He retired from the landscaping business.

He was a member of Fordtown Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie Rigsby and Myrtle Caldwell Rigsby; brother, Johnny Rigsby; sisters, Jessie Browder and Amy Rigsby.

Surviving are his wife, Zona Barnes Rigsby of the home; four sons, Roy L. Rigsby, Charles E. Rigsby, Rocky L. Rigsby and wife April, James L. Rigsby, all of Kingsport; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; eight sisters, Beulah and Bud Briggs of Ervin, Ruby Parsons of Kingsport, Irene and J.D. Ford of Gray, Louise Rigsby of Gray, Kate and Creek Baldwin of Sulpher Springs, Carrie and Rube Coggins of Sulpher Springs, Mamie and Dub of Gray, Mable and Sam Garst of Blountville; two brothers, Charles R. Rigsby of Gray, Bill Rigsby of Kingsport; sister-in-law, Naomi Payne; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Fordtown Church Cemetery.
