MRS. NELLIE E. COSS, 70, of 1046 S. Potomac St., died at University Hospital in Baltimore on Friday.


Born in Downsville, she was the daughter of Lemuel and Sarah Litten Mellott.


She was a member of the Church of the Brethren; past president of Altaristic Bible Class; and a member of the Auxiliary of Fahrney-Keedy Memorial Home.


She is survived by her husband, Clarence S. Coss; daughters, Mrs. Betty E. Zittle and Mrs. P. Marie Guessford, both of Hagerstown; brothers, Arthur G. Mellott, Rohrersville; and Richard W. Mellott, Beaver Creek; sisters, Mrs. Bessie L. Shank, Maugansville; and Mrs. Mary E. Taylor, Sharpsburg; and 4 grandchildren.


Services Monday at 11 am at Minnich Funeral Home, E. Wilson Blvd., conducted by the Rev. Dean M. Miller and the Rev. Charles Birx; burial in Beaver Creek Cemetery.
