Paul R Scieszinski
Paul R Scieszinski was born Oct. 12, 1911 near Melrose, and died April 15, 1955, at the age of 43 years, seven months and three days.
He was the son of Joe and Mag O'Brien Scieszinski.
His marriage to Mary Lahart took place June 1, 1938 at St. Patrick's church, Melrose. The Rev. L.J. Murphy officiated. They became the parents of two children, Judy, now 15 years old, and Larry 12.
Mr. Scieszinski is survived by his wife and children; his parents; three brothers, Pat of Webster City and Leo and Tom Scieszinski, both of Melrose; and three sisters, Mrs. Eddie McGrath of Melrose, Mrs. William Feehan of East Moline, Ill. and Mrs. Bernard Kitterman of Albia.
Funeral services were at St. Patrick's church, Melrose, at 9 o'clock the morning of April 18, conducted by the Rev. R.J. McGrath. burial was in Mt. Calvary cemetery. Bearers were six nephews - Dave Scieszinski, Ray Scieszinski, Don Scieszinski, Paul McGrath, Joe Scieszinski and Jim Scieszinski.
