She married William Pinkney Phillips January 14, 1894 in Clark County Arkansas. Together they had five children: Alene Blanche (died at 2 years old), Willie Lee (died at birth), Doyle, Lois Isabelle (Bridgers), and Morgan Lawlis Phillips. William Phillips died February 28, 1906 and Alma later married Mateo Gatlin Winburn on December 1913 in Clark County, Arkansas. Together they had one child, Annie Katherine Winburn (Runyan). After M.G. Winburn died Alma ran a boarding house for many years in McGhee Arkansas. I believe it was on 2nd street. She was also a seamstress and she took in work for the community. She had a contract with Missouri Pacific Railroad for putting up their crews. McGehee was a turn-around from the north and south, so she stayed pretty busy. Information provided by Alma's grandson, Bill Runyan.
