Funeral services for Mrs. Bernice Boone Jarrett, 37 who died Tuesday morning in a Spruce Pine hospital of a cerebral hemorage. Funeral services were held at the Rebels Creek Baptist Church on Wednesday at 2:30 P. M.

Bernice was the oldest child and daughter of John Nathan Boone and Nola Ada Sparks Boone. She married John Flemings Jarrett on August 3, 1932. Surviving in addition to her husband and father are a daughter, Paulette of the home, two sons; Richard and Edward of the home. In addition, she is survived by the step-mother, three brothers, Arby Boone of Colorado, Frank Boone of Spruce Pine, John Boone of Rebels Creek, a sister, Lena Howell of Boonford. Two half sisters, Margaret Howell of Columbia, S. C. and Miss Lucille Boone of Rebels Creek; six half-brothers, Nathan, Howard, Donald and Ronnie Boone of Rebels Creek, Charles Boone of the U S Air Force and Worley Boone of the U S Navy.
