Oil City Derrick, Thursday, May 17 1951:
Mrs. Grace Adams Lansche of 4531 40th Street, New York City, died at 6 pm Tuesday. She was born and raised near Polk, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John D. Adams.

She lived many years in New York City.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Helen Wells; a son, Jack; and two grandchildren, all of New York; two sisters and three brothers, Mrs. Bess Stroup of Akron, OH, Wirt Adams of Ashtabula, OH, Plumer Adams, Newton Adams, and Miss Gertrude Adams of Polk.

The body will arrive in Oil City at 10:13 pm Thursday and will be taken to Buchanan Funeral Home in Franklin.

Grace Adams Lansche, formerly of Polk, died last Tuesday in New York City.

A requiem high mass was celebrated in St. Patrick's Church Saturday morning with Rev. Father Urban S. Barrett, pastor, as celebrant. Interment was in Sandy Cemetery at Polk with pallbearers Jackie Lansche, and Wayne, Russell, Dean, Hays, Richard, and Jack Adams.
