Audrey was the daughter of George Henry Sterner, Sr. and Edna Catherine Masenheimer. She married Paul Summers on November 29, 1947 in Westminster, Carroll Co., MD.
Paul and Audrey were the parents of three children:

DOVER -- Mrs. Audrey Marie Summers, 49, died Wednesday at her residence, 1766 Oakley Drive.
She was the wife of Paul Summers.
Mrs. Summers was born in York, a daughter of George H. Sterner, 836 Fern Place, York, and the late Edna Masenheimer Sterner.
She was retired from A & P Markets where she was employed for 25 years.
Survivors include:
Three sons -- Michael L. Summers, Miami, Fla., and Daniel P. Summers and Timothy E. Summers, both at home.
Two grandchildren.
Five sisters -- Mrs. Doris Lau, 919 W. Princess St., York; Mrs. Jane Fissel, York New Salem; Mrs. Fay Hale, Manchester; Mrs. Shirley Barbaretta, Harrisburg; and Mrs. Patsy Sullivan, 357 S. Queen St., York.
Three brothers -- Richard Sterner, 825 Taxville Road, York; Barry Sterner, Wellsville; and Jerry Sterner, York New Salem.
The Rev. Darwyn J. Nace, pastor of Bethany United Methodist Church, Felton, will officiate at the funeral service at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Chas. E. Leber Funeral Parlors, 200 Carlisle Ave. Burial will be in Mt. Rose Cemetery.
