Julia was born in Greene County, IL. Married George Frank Blockburger on 20 Nov. 1867 in Montgomery County, IL. George was a musician in the CW. They had a son John Lee born in 1873; they later moved to NE and had a daughter Theodora who died at 18 yr. George died in 1896 in CA and Julia later married James F. Duncan in Tombstone, AZ. Julia returned to CA when she became ill and died in 1922. Duncan died in 1926 in AZ.
