JAMES W. FADLEY

James W. "John" Fadley, 64, of 701 Furnace Street, Willow Valley Apartments, formerly of New Hampshire Avenue, died Wednesday, September 20, 1989, at the Martinsburg Veterans Center, W.Va.

Born March 30, 1925, in Markham, Va., he was the son of the late William N. and Clara L. Beddows Fadley.

Mr. Fadley was a retired truck driver. An Army veteran of World War II, he was a member of the Oldtown Veterans of Foreign Wars, Clifford B. Sisler Post 9451, and the American Legion.

Surviving are his Widow, Jeanette Young Fadley; one stepson, Wesley T. Brown, Cumberland; two brothers, Ralph L. Fadley, Short Gap, and Marshall B. Fadley, Homewood Addition; and two sisters, Mrs. Effie E. Judy, Fort Ashby, and Mrs. Julia E. Porter, Cumberland.

Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, Virginia Avenue, Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Services will be conducted there at 1 p.m. by Paul H. Brown. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park.

Graveside military honors will be accorded by members of the Oldtown VFW.
