FRED N. FADLEY

Fred N. Fadley, 64, of 13213 Fifth Avenue, Cresaptown, was dead on arrival yesterday at Memorial Hospital.

Born in Green Spring, W.VA., he was a son of the late William Nelson and Alice Walker Fadley.

He was a retired painting contractor and was a member of the Cresaptown Eagles.
He is survived by his widow, Ada Lee Hill Fadley; five daughters, Mrs. Nelsie Barrett and Mrs. Ellen Lease, both of Cresaptown; Miss Wilda Fadley and Miss Wanda Fadley, both of here, and Miss Gail Williams, at home; two sons, Fred N. Fadley Jr., Cresaptown, and Gary Fadley, City; two sisters, Mrs. Effie Judy, Ridgeley, and Mrs. Julia Porter, City; four brothers, Hubert Fadley, city; Ralph Fadley, Alderson, W.VA.; James Fadley, Wiley Ford, and Marshall Fadley, Homewood Addition, LaVale, and seven grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the George Funeral Home today from 7 to 9 p.m. and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Fred was buried at SS Peter & Paul Cemetery in Cumberland, where he rested more than twenty years, after which Ada had his body exhumed and relocated to Saint Ambrose Cemetery in Cresaptown, where at the time of this publication, Fred and Ada lie side by side among many of Ada's ancestors on a slope overlooking their beloved Cresaptown.
